The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most famous cars in the world, the choice of Bond, James Bond 007. The lightweight tubular framed body fitted with an aluminium DOHC 4 litre straight six with upgraded Weber carburettors now exceeding the factory’s 282Hp driven through a 5 Speed ZF manual transmission provides serious performance with a 0-100km/h time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 233km/h. Featuring a Webasto sun roof, a handy accessory when fitted with the optional ejector seat. On the inside this car is a place of beauty with correct Smiths gauges and time piece, door trims, timber rimmed steering wheel and the gear shifter all examples of a truly original car.
Supplied with an Aston Martin Heritage Trust certificate, restoration documents, registration certificates, toolkit and spare wheel. From a collectors point, this car has excellent provenance and a matching number engine.
